Beschreibung: | The list of activities leading to User-Generated Content is manifold and ranges from blog entries and Facebook posts to podcasts, fan-fictions, mash-ups and video tutorials. Due to the rapid advances in information technology, User-Generated Content has proven to be a profitable emerging market. However, a legal basis regulating the exploitation of content partly created by end-users is still missing. The article focuses on whether User-Generated Content may be subsumed under one of the exceptions set forth in Art 5 para. 3 InfoSoc Directive (teaching, quotation, incident inclusion, parody). |
